At Woorai, we take great pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our products. We are pleased to offer a 1-Year Limited Warranty on all our pendant lights, covering defects in materials and workmanship. This warranty is a statement of our confidence in our products and our commitment to you, our valued customer.

A Note on Handcrafted & Natural Materials

Please understand that the following are natural characteristics of handcrafted wooden items and are not considered defects eligible for warranty claims:

Wood Grain & Color Variation

The patterns, textures, and color tones of the wood will vary from piece to piece. The product you receive will not be an exact match to the photos, making it uniquely yours.

Natural Wood Features

The presence of small, stable knots, mineral streaks, or other natural figuring in the wood.

Minor Finishing Marks

Subtle tool marks or slight variations in the finish that are hallmarks of a true handmade process.

We celebrate these variations as the signature of authentic craftsmanship, and we hope you do too.

Part 1: The Fixture

We warrant the electrical components of your pendant light to be free from manufacturing defects and to function properly for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase.

What's Covered:

  • The light socket
  • The electrical cord
  • The ceiling canopy and its mounting hardware

Our Promise:

If any of these components fail due to a manufacturing defect within the warranty period, we will provide a replacement component or a new fixture at our discretion, free of charge.

Part 2: The Shade

We stand behind the unique, hand-carved nature of our shades. We warrant the shade to be free from innate defects in the wood and craftsmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase.

What's Covered:

  • Cracking or splitting that compromises the structural integrity of the piece, resulting from innate material flaws (e.g., improperly dried wood).
  • Failure of glued joints under normal conditions.
  • Significant functional defects in the original finish, such as widespread peeling, tackiness, or bubbling (does not include minor cosmetic variations).
  • Arriving with damage upon unboxing (any damage from shipping must be reported within 14 days of delivery).

Our Promise:

If the shade develops a fault covered under this warranty, we will work with you to provide a repair, a replacement shade, or a full replacement light at our discretion. Our goal is to ensure the piece you love remains a beautiful part of your home.

Part 3: Exemptions

This warranty is "limited" and does not cover issues caused by factors outside of the manufacturing process. The following are exempt from warranty coverage:

  • Natural variations and characteristics of wood as described in our "Note on Handcrafted & Natural Materials" section. This includes, but is not limited to, differences in wood grain, color, texture, and the presence of small knots.
  • Normal wear and tear, including gradual fading or changes in color over time due to exposure to light and environment.
  • Any minor cosmetic imperfections that do not compromise the functionality or structural integrity of the lamp.
  • Accidental damage, such as chips, dents, or cracks resulting from the product being dropped, hit, or mishandled.
  • Damage caused by an improper environment, including but not limited to:
    • Placement in areas of excessive humidity or direct contact with water (e.g., bathrooms).
    • Placement directly over a heat source (e.g., heating vent, radiator).
  • Damage caused by improper use, including the use of a light bulb that exceeds the maximum recommended wattage, leading to heat damage.
  • Damage resulting from incorrect installation, failure to follow installation instructions, or improper maintenance.
  • Any product that has been altered, modified, or repaired by any party other than Woorai.

How to Make a Claim

If you believe your product has a defect covered by our warranty, please contact us at help@woorai.com with the following information:

  • Your original order number.
  • A brief description of the issue.
  • Clear photos or a short video showing the defect.
